Deep Soil Mixing

Process Overview

The DSM process begins by setting out treatment locations and preparing the rig to suit site conditions. A large-diameter mechanical mixing tool is advanced to the design depth, where cementitious binder is injected and blended with the in-situ soil during penetration and withdrawal.

This creates engineered soil-cement columns with increased strength and stiffness and lower permeability. DGSA enhances DSM through high-torque mixing, jet assistance, and air injection technology, improving mixing efficiency, reducing binder consumption, and delivering consistent column quality.
